中国剪纸是用剪刀或刻刀在纸上剪刻花纹，用于装点生活或配合其他民俗活动的一种民间艺术。唐宋以来，剪纸在漳浦民间 一直十分盛行，代代相传，样式层出不穷。漳浦剪纸以阳剪为主、阴剪为辅，构图丰满，风格细腻雅致；在构图的连接性、技法的细腻性、风格的多样性和处变的适应性等方面，显示出与众不同的特性。柘荣剪纸与民俗活动紧密相关，剪纸技艺大多于成年女子中传承，表现技法没有统一的模式，继承了中原文化的特色，具有古朴、浑厚、粗犷、写意的风格，与陕北民间剪纸极为相似。在艺术特色上，不求对称，阴阳变化大小不一，剪纸艺术语言跃然纸上，没有人为的雕饰感，达到似与不似的传统艺术效果。剪纸艺术传承的视觉形象和造型格式，蕴含着丰富的历史文化信息，表达了广大民众的社会认识、道德观念、实践经验、生活理想和审美情趣，具有认知、教化、抒情、娱乐等多重社会价值。

Answer: China Paper-Cut (including “Zhangpu Paper-Cut” and “Zherong Paper-Cut”) was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
China Paper-Cut is a folk handicraft which uses scissors or engraving knives to cut papers for decoration or other folk activities. Since Tang and Song Dynasties in China’s History, paper-cut has been popular in Zhangpu region and transmitted from generation to generation with endless patterns. Zhangpu paper-cut has a wonderful, elegant composition style, which can be found in image layout connection, cutting skills and diversity of work pieces. Zherong paper-cut, another representative paper-cut style in Fujian, is closely related to folk events, and the artists are usually adult women. The features of Central Plain culture are inherited in the paper-cut works, which are also similar to their counterparts in Shaanbei (Northern Shaanxi Province). The beauty of paper-cut is vividly demonstrated on the paper works and the visual images and design patterns carried are reflections of rich historical and cultural information. China Paper-Cut demonstrates the public’s social knowledge and understanding, moral values, practical experience, ideal oflife and aesthetics, and it has multiple functions in terms of perception, education, emotion expression and entertainment.
