21.《保护非物质文化遗产公约》是什么时候通过的？现在该公约有多少个缔约国？中国什么时候加入该公约？

答：是 2003年 10月在联合国教科文组织第 32届大会上通过，旨在保护以传统、口头表述、节庆礼仪、手工技能、音乐、舞蹈等为代表的非物质文化遗产。《保护非物质文化遗产公约》于 2006年 4月生效。

截至 2018年 5月 11日，随着所罗门群岛的加入，该公约已有 178个缔约国。中国于 2004年 8月加入该公约。

Q21.When was Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage adopted?How many state parties are there? When did China enter the Convention?

Answer: The Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was adopted at the 32nd Session of UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee in October, 2003. The instrument intends to protect intangible cultural heritage represented by oral traditions and expressions, rituals and festive events, craftsmanship, music and dances, and it entered into force in April, 2006.

As of May 11th, 2018, state parties to the Convention increased to 178 upon Solomon Islands’ signing on the instrument. China entered into the Convention in August, 2004.
