12.非物质文化遗产与文化遗产的关系是什么？

答：《保护世界文化遗产和自然遗产公约》第 1条明确规定了文化遗产包括的范围：文物、建筑群、遗址。非物质文化遗产与文化遗产都是人类的创造，离开了人的参与，它们便不能产生，更谈不上长期存在；二者也有重合的地方。其区别是关注点的不同：文化遗产所关注的主要是人工的、有形的、物质形态的文化遗产的保护，而且这些遗产基本上是不可再生的；非物质文化遗产关注的主要是精神、技艺和创造等非物质形态的因素。

Q12. What is the relationship between intangible cultural heritage and cultural heritage?

Answer: Article 1 in Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage explicitly defines the scope of cultural heritage, namely monuments, groups of buildings and sites. Similar to cultural heritage, intangible cultural heritage is also created by human, without whose engagement neither of them would appear or survive for long. Their difference lies in the fact that cultural heritage mainly involves artificial, tangible and material heritage which simply is not renewable, while intangible cultural heritage mainly concerns the intangible elements such as spirit, skills and creativity.
